low poly and high poly

this is my low poly model next to the high poly version. Obviosuly the high poly one is nicer. this character is rigged and nearly skinned. Having a few problems with the cyrsis rig where its not skinning correctly in some parts.

New comp test with animation from Cavan Judge on Vimeo.

An animation update! charlotte rig up her character and i did a quick animation test and comp it in fusion and added in an effect to see what the out come would be. As a test I’m happy but for the final trailer we need it to be better animated and much better comp in, but I’m happy with what i did.

Looking at the vimeo upload, the video looks a lot darker…

I will do the pre-rendered in max and in crysis. i will use fusion do to is. i will render out the crysis background then animated in max then composite it in. i will use this as the snow in max was not looking right. the vimeo video is a test video that i did. (ignor the blue line and the white and pink box as its a test and i didn’t use the camera)

the pre-rendered secene is a long shoot of him walking in and falling then its a cuts to a point of view shoot looking at the builting then it cuts to a close up of the face then it cuts to a long shoot of him standing up.

long shoot - animated in max then comp with the crysis background
pov shoot - crysis with the camera animated
close up - animated in max (might use crysis background if the camera pan out)
long shoot - camare at the back showing him getting up and then looking at the building - animated in max then comp with the crysis background.

Iv started messing around with textures abit more, since this is pre rendered scene and not in game iv add more maps. this character has a built in Ao pass and a colour spec.

here’s a quick update of the head, started to add scars. The eyes are temp!! next is to add the metal devices to his head and then final detailing of the scars and blood.
